On Wednesday the 7th of May, year 10 media students took part in an excursion to the Science Gallery Melbourne. Students went on a guided tour of the Science Fiction gallery and interacted with the installations, including a robot that guessed visitors ages. In the afternoon, they participated in a podcasting workshop using professional equipment and software. The excursion provided students with a valuable insight into podcast planning and production, as well as encouraging them to think critically about storytelling, diversity, and media representation. It was a hands-on learning experience that blended creativity, technology, and cultural reflection.
